This page gets a little personal and lengthy. The photos and text are meant to help new acquaintances understand how I work, and remind others about the accomplishments we have achieved! At my core I am a people person, a communicator and a photographer. As a photographer I normally look at everything else except myself- so this page looks inward at my inspirations, handiwork and interests. I continue to do as much as physically, mentally and spiritually possible. Lifelong learning is my passion!

I rely on seven principles of work ethic

  • Professionalism. Being professional involves everything from how you present yourself in the business world to the way you treat others.

  • Respectfulness.  Courteous regard for people's feelings.

  • Dependability.  The quality of being able to be counted on or relied upon. When you always do everything that you say you will and never make promises you cannot keep.

  • Dedication. The quality of being committed to a task or purpose.

  • Determination. Firmness of purpose; resoluteness.

  • Accountability. The fact or condition of being accountable; responsibility.

  • Humility. A modest or realistic view of one's own importance; humbleness.

I find things other people don’t see

Always interested in finding solutions to problems, I recognize the need for an organization to move forward with efficiency and profits. I can foster innovation throughout an organization, both on specific projects and in structural ways that impact daily operations.

Management Philosophy

I define management as measurement. I use technology to track progress while utilizing a high performance interpersonal skill set. I’m able to follow the inherent skills of leadership along with energizing each individual on the team, I lead by example but am able to delegate where necessary.

Where do I see myself in five years?

Let me start by saying that I’m really excited about the future of technology and my number one goal is to do the best job I can at staying on the leading edge of the digital industry. Having said that, if down the line there’s an opportunity for creative innovation and I’ve proven that I have not only the skills and experience needed to take on this project and next level of responsibility, then of course I would be interested.

Professional Philosophy/Personal Mission Statement

I show character through trust, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.

I am honest and do not deceive, cheat or steal. I am reliable; I’ll do what I say I’ll do and I have the courage to do the right thing. I have built a good reputation and loyally stand by my friends, family, and my country.

I treat others with respect; I follow the Golden Rule. I am tolerant of differences and I use good manners and refrain from bad language. I show consideration for the feelings of others. I will not threaten, hit or hurt anyone; I deal peacefully with my anger, insults and disagreements.

I always do my best and do what I am supposed to do; perseverance is my key. I practice self-control and self-discipline. I consider consequences before acting and know that I am accountable.

I play by the rules; take turns and share. I am open-minded and I listen well to others. I never put the blame on anyone else for my faults.

Be kind, compassionate, and I show I care. I express gratitude, forgive others, and help people in need.

I do my share to make my schools and community better. I cooperate, stay informed, and vote.

I obey the rules set before me, respect authority, and protect the environment.

My personality is well-rounded and I am warm and loving with friends and family.

I believe in staying positive and up-tempo.

In everything I do, I shall give my interest, my enthusiasm, my devotion, my love, and most of all, myself.

Accomplishments: something successfully done, completed.

Key Accomplishments

  • Created a small business from the ground up, networking and building relationships with vendors, clients and business associates. An award winning digital photography business for family/business portraits, wedding events, corporate events and commercial projects.

  • Created a local area network within a Midwest printing business with $7 million in sales. The hardware and software efficiencies saved $382,000 annually by creating accurate data for sales contracts and production workflow. Cost savings were also derived through employee time management as well as allowing accurate real time communications with customers and vendors which built credibility to our brand over nine years.

  • Curator for one the world’s largest collections of Dick Tracy original art and original studio tools/ props. I produced a photo inventory and digital spreadsheet of the studio collection that spans over fifty years. The irreplaceable collection is stored in multiple climate controlled undisclosed locations.

  • I find value in things other people miss; in a recycle bin I discovered a 180-year-old map of Chicago, plus 38 more neighborhood maps, hand drawn for a New York real estate investor when Chicago was a small western outpost of 350 people. These city treasures and oldest existing maps of Chicago now reside in a vault at 31 North Clark Street, Chicago.

  • I am a researcher using intuition and a world wide area network of people and databases to locate and connect with the living American relatives of 83rd Infantry Division soldiers who lost military items, art and personal effects; as well as mapping their itinerary as they fought across Europe during WWII.

  • Editor and publisher of a digital edition legacy newspaper. Organize reporter’s stories, place news, announcements and reminders. Design, create art and post both new and vintage photographs utilizing brand guidelines.
